I should have said yesterday, our tree is not some cool or stylish tree, it has too many decorations on it, we have gathered them over the years and the mean something to us ...

this is my favourite that barry got for me a couple of years ago ...we walked up to McIvor today to see fi the road was open and they have cleared it - yeah!! however see the cars and truck int his photo, yip they are stuck ...
this is how cold i was after our walk, and trust me i had PLENTY of layers on ... but no where near to my record of 53 items of clothing ;)ok this is the dress i got for my works party ... the men are just wearing trousers and shirts, so its not super formal

Do you think it is too short??

Oh Christmas Tree

Oh man we got a huge snow storm yesterday, at various parts of the day the roads out of Calgary to the North, South, East and West were all closed :o

My bus jouney home took 2.5 hours man it was crazy!!

our street didnt get much snow though :)

We had decided since there was no way we were getting up to Edmonton this weekend we would up our tree. I decided i wanted a small one for the bonus room and one for the main sitting room. So after much moaning by me, Bar gave in and said lets go to walmart.

Our streets werent that bad so we didnt think anything of it. Got as far as McIvor and this was the scene

There were cars just stuck everywhere ... oh and that truck you can see the front of, no one was in it, it had just been left there!!

We decided to just put our big tree in our bonus room :) Thankfully we got food yesterday becuase i was NOT willing to walk the 4km round trip to the local co-op gas station! Nor the 6km round trip to the supermarket!!!

so some Christmas Music, some holiday cheer and a skye to Cooper ... the end result is kind pretty!!

PS dont you love my stripy stocking from old navy $2 :)

Oh and Yesterday was Barry and my anniversary, 13 years together :o!! Thanks for putting up with me i know im hard work some times! I love you, and heres hoping the next 13 years are a bit easier!! xxxxxx

Anyways sorry for the delay in my posting its been busy as normal. Im trying to take as much time out as i can to spend it with Bar, we didnt get a holiday this year and havent gotten out adventuring as much and we need the time together!

And the news is out ....

I had to make a very hard decision but last month i decided NOT to continue on the scrapbook star DT, i just couldnt give it the time i wanted to. Im sure the new team will do a fantastic job .. big woop woop for Tina cant wait to see what you come up with!!...

next month will also be my last month with Dotty divas again im not being fair, i dont have the time to commit

im hoping that i get out of my scrappy funk and start enjoying scrapbooking for myself again with products i love, im looking forward to it, no pressure for anyone to like what im doing ... sounds goooood to me!!

in other news i have a huge bruise on my knee from acupuncture this week ... could be my fault, when they say just relax i get wired and dont want to chill out i want to move!!

then today i went to get blood work done and the needle almost went through my arm, seriously huge lump and blood bruse and normal bruise, its going to be sore tomorrow!!!! ... its sore tonight!

i went to get my first pedicure yesterday with some girlfriends and i have to say i had fun!! i did however want bar to take some pictures of my cute toes and the cute flowers on my toes he took this ... not so cute, until i saw the westie in the background ... see i really do have huge feet ;)

I forget

I forget ...

Sometimes I forget just how lucky I am. Sometimes I dwell on the bad things that have happened.

I am so very very lucky, I have some amazing friends who are there for me when I need them even if I haven’t been there for them much when they were/are going through a rough time.

I am so lucky to have such a great family and I really really mean that there are quite a lot of us and I seriously love each and every one of them. I hate that I speak with them and remember just how much I love them and how great they are, we are all pretty different but we have know each other our whole lives and we would stand by each other fiercely.

Id forgotten, just how very lucky I am!!

Thank you guys and you know who you are I really am thankful to have you in my life and I will try harder to keep in touch!
